Callable Option or Warrant

In the hands of its holder, this is a long call or long put subject to a short call retained by the issuer of the long option . The issuer can limit the holder's profit by exercising its call and terminating the position during the life of the call feature. Ordinarily, the long call or put has a longer life than the option to terminate retained by the issuer.
