Cash-on-Cash
A measurement of return on investment often used in the marketing of tax shelters and investments based on a specific project. Cash-on-cash measures the return on investment by dividing net cash earnings by the cash invested. Changes in likely cash flows over time and the expected life of the cash flows may not be analyzed adequately with this return measurement procedure.
