Completion Portfolio or Fund
|
A selection of stocks or, less frequently, bonds which fills 'gaps' in a portfolio and improves its tracking relative to a designated benchmark index. Completion funds are often used by pension plan sponsors or endowment investment funds to add types of assets not used by the portfolio's active managers. Also called Fulfillment Fund.
