Currency Exchange Warrants (CEWs)

A cash settled, American-style warrant often issued in conjunction with straight debt by a corporate issuer. The holder of the warrant is entitled to a cash payment at exercise if the spot rate in the target currency exceeds the rate designated as the strike.
