Equity Buyback Obligation Rights (EBORs)

Puts sold by the issuer of the underlying stock and guaranteed by a creditworthy third party giving the holder the right to sell the company's stock at a fixed (strike) price for a designated period. EBORs are sold to signal confidence in the corporation's outlook, not as part of a stock repurchase program.
