An equity-linked instrument with a single stock as the underlying, a coupon that exceeds the dividend on the underlying stock, and a capped return. The higher coupon is purchased with the proceeds from the cap. A synthetic (dealer issued) preference equity redemption cumulative stock (PERCS).
