An interagency coordinating body consisting of the Controller of the Currency, the Chairman of the FDIC, members of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Office of Thrift Supervision, and the chairman of the National Credit Union Administration. Together, these five regulatory agencies have primary regulatory jurisdiction over domestic banks and other thrift institutions as well as the United States branches of foreign banks.
