G

Group of 10 (G-10)

An organization of central banks, inevitably linked to the Bank for International Settlement (BIS) by concern for payments systems. Like the Group of 20 (G- 20), the number does not reflect the actual membership of eleven central banks: United States, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Switzerland and Canada.
