Non-Parametric Statistics

Inferential procedures not concerned with population parameters such as mean and standard deviation. The term 'non-parametric' is often used to refer to inferential procedures that do not depend on the distribution of the population, although purists refer to the latter procedures as distribution-free statistics. Also called Distribution-Free Statistics.
