Comparison of Quanto and Standard Equity-Linked Note (ELN) Return An equity-linked note in which the percentage change of a foreign equity or equity index is translated into the currency in which the note is denominated (the investor's base currency) for accounting and reporting convenience and, sometimes, for regulatory necessity. Also called Fixed Exchange Rate Equity Note. See also Complex Option.
