Registered Options Principal (ROP)
|
An employee of a brokerage firm who has passed a test on exchange and SEC rules for handling customer option accounts. A senior registered option principal (SROP) must approve new option accounts, and a compliance registered option principal (CROP) is responsible for the brokerage firm's option compliance program.
