Screen Trading

A reference to a trading system that involves the display of firm bids and offers on a computer monitor. The underlying trading system may permit completion of trades with orders entered at a terminal (Globex, DTB) or larger trades may be completed only after the parties exchange a telephone call (NASDAQ).
