Up-and-Out Call
|
A call option that expires if an outstrike is breached or a call spread that pays off early if an early exercise price trigger is tripped. An example would be exchange-traded CAPS. Also called Over-and-Out Call, Cash-Out Call Option with Rebate, Up-and-Away Option (2), Special Expiration Price Option. See also Exploding Option, Out Option.
